That's a great quote, and one that I could post right here! This week when I was babysitting for Ella, the cat (we think) snatched one of her tiny socks. It has yet to reappear. I love this notebook!
All the way to the USA, eh? Sozzy.....that's pretty neat. Not like the loner sock. NOT neat. I have a Very Expensive Calvin Klein sock [bought in Italy!] that lost his mate. No idea where or how. Have I chucked out said 'loner'? Not on your Nelly. I paid too much. However, I do mourn everytime I open my sock drawer.....& if someone can tell me where my camera lense cap rolled off to.....???!!!!!

You have reminded me of a song we used to sing at my song club called Black Socks! I have such happy memories for the morning now. Maybe we should have a (virtual )sock swap.
I love the idea that some socks are loners and some live in pairs.... my son in law gave up trying to find a match and now all his live as one big happy family!
