What can I tell you? I'm Sian Fair. I've been married for about half a lifetime and we have a son (The Tall One) and a daughter (who started out as The Small One, but is now quite a bit taller so we call her The Not So Small One) and a very high house in the city. My Grandma taught me to knit when I was five and I've been making things ever since.
I've sewn dolls clothes, real clothes, curtains, coats and cushions. I've cross-stitched, though it has been a while, and I discovered scrapbooking nearly four years ago when I wanted to make a wedding album for my sister. That led me to blogging and now I can't imagine a life without it.
I write for the Uk's newest scrapping magazine Scrap365
I love a cup of really good coffee, a fresh stack of new magazines, a brightly lit bookshop, a walk through some crisp Autumn leaves, a glimpse of the sea, a dollshouse door to peep through, a pile of felt scraps to sew with and, oh, Christmas cards from friends, fresh checks and richly coloured linens, buttons, bright things and a bundle of other stuff besides. And you'll find it all right here, High In The Sky..
