...because that way I get to cluster and layer. This page includes rubber charms from Amy Tangerine, a puffy sticker from Crate Paper, and some stickers from Shimelle for American Crafts. I used the branding strips from the bottom of three papers to make a banner to hold my embellishments and I backed the stickers with white card so I could move them around before I stuck them down.
It's Little E at the museum: a favourite trip for us, as you know. This one had been planned for a while and when we finally arrived (by bus, of course, for extra fun) we didn't know what to look at first, until Little E revealed an interest in taxidermy. Those animals, Auntie Sian, do they die like that? in those shapes? And he did a very respectable imitation of a seventy year old polar bear, stuffed with whatever museums stuff their polar bears in order to amaze seven year old boys. It was a good trip.
The museum grounds are the setting for my next page about an afternoon out at a Mela Festival last autumn.
I was spoilt for choice with the packets of Jen Hadfield stickers and diecuts in the Main kit and Main Add On: when the little gold elephant fell into my lap, I knew immediately what I was going to do with it. The gold rubons are from Amy Tangerine, in the Life Pages kit.
And for a third page, I walked just down our road a little further, to the Arts Centre, which last week held an Alice in Wonderland themed Craft Fair. We had enjoyed the Narnia decorations at Christmas so much that we had to turn up to see this one:
The very Alice-ish teacup and rabbit are from the Crate Paper chipboard in the Main Add On.
What can I say? A wonderland collection of embellishments means I had to use a little of everything. But I still have plenty to play with. April from Gossamer Blue here

All delightful pages. Your day out with Little E looks like you both had fun. I like April's cheerful colours - a gold foil Elephant would cheer up any page, but the best in kit award goes to the bunny chipboard.
I don't spend much time on blogs anymore and have probably been missing a lot of your amazing pages! I love these each for different reasons and I am still VERY much a fan of your work... I just need to come tell you more often ;)
I'm always fighting with embellishments, so am in awe (once again) of your ability to group them together so creatively and effectively. Hard to pick a fave, but I think it's Little E's page; his personality just shines through in that photo!
I love the idea of the animals conveniently dying in good positions for the taxidermist! Oh the innocence of the young. Great looking pages.

Oh, these are all so lovely. I, too, like to add stickers to cardstock first so I can move them around until they're in just the right spot.
You have to be one of the most inspiring scrapbookers. I can't tell you how happy I am to be catching up on my blog reading, I'd have hated to miss these.
