Oh Abi: thank you for leaving the
One Photo & Twenty Words link open long enough for me to find a little story I wanted to tell! Here it is:
|
The last night before the final exam. The hard work is finished. What to do now? They decided on regression.
...because it makes me smile to think I could have looked out of the window five years and seen this. Or ten years ago. Or even - just about - fifteen years ago. Except that then I probably wouldn't have had a phone at hand to snap it.

Oh! this is so lovely Sian.
The perfect capture.
Such a great capture....do brothers and sisters ever really grow up?!!!
Emma has taken to going out and playing with a netball since she finished her exams. I have been tempted to suggest she could catch up with tidying her room but she has worked very hard....
Love that shot and all that it holds ... TTO with calmer hair, TNSSO looking on (and possibly wearing glasses?), his car, the Narnia lamp post ...I can see it all so clearly, I feel quite homesick!!
it must be a nice feeling to know they are over. We have 5 more to go :(
A perfect moment captured - love it x
I love this perspective Sian. The photo and your words. I totally advocate regression during exam period. Mine usually consists of skipping to telcos and eating doughnuts!
The continuity of regressing. Certain juxtaposition in there methinks......wouldn't it be amazing to imagine 15 years hence with the NEXT generation out there..... Hope the exams went smashingly:):)
Oh, brilliant.....(beautiful composition in the photo, too xxx)...hope 'it' went well xxx
It's a perfect capture!
And I can't believe how mature they look ... Great sibling therapy. I bet your are eternally glad you have a phone with a camera on it.
What an interesting photo. Not only your story regarding the people featured, but the lamp post, wall and wrought iron fence. Perfect on many levels!
Love the photo and the story. Perfect for twenty words x
Princess informs me that regression helps with exam prep. Great photo and yes, what images we would have captured with phones ten, fifteen or howsoever many years ago.
Great photo, will make a great layout.
Great photo with many more memories than the eye can see :)
Just lovely....
