Photo 365+1

We've had an interesting series of prompts this week from Suzie and Photo 365+1. They've been based around time and routine and every one has created a story fit for a scrapbook page. I love having a few ideas lined up!

Here are my favourites:

AN EVERYDAY SIGHT - I seem to see more signs like this every time I go out

BEDTIME - I found this on my pillow on Saturday night. Apparently I'm not the only one in the house who gathers up little bits of paper and keeps them as souvenirs

9.00pm - An early night after a busy day. If I can find an excuse I'll happily read for at least an hour before going to sleep. This is one of the Wallander books, bought after we enjoyed the TV series

MORNING ROUTINE - This mug? A friend gave it to me for my 22nd birthday. As The Accountant is five days older than I am, and we were getting married in a week's time, she gave him one too. Every morning since then I have made coffee in our big, morning mugs. They won't need to last too much longer until we silver-plate them! Though my friend has promised us some new ones instead..

Definitely a story or two there, yes? Which is my cue to remind you that it's Storytelling Sunday this weekend. Thank you to everyone who has already said they are in this time round. Don't forget - short or tall, we love them all! I have tentatively started a Pinterest Board for related layouts and contributions and I'm adding to it as I find, love or remember a post. Don't worry, I would never add any personal photos - layouts and projects only, what do you think?

And finally, one other Sky High note. Yesterday I was playing around with some Slice cutting and some Kraft. I posted a quick picture of the results on From High's Facebook Page - and I'm glad I did, because I spotted something along the same lines on another (very inspirational) blog this morning. You saw it here first. Or, at least you did if you Facebook From High..

Happy Thursday

I always enjoy your photos Sian. There are some wonderful LO's in these! That mug is hilarious. I still haven't joined Pinterest or Facebook. Not sure I can discipline myself to stay away long enough to accomplish much in my day. Now that my girls are grown, the more time I have the less I seem to get done. So weird how that works.

We have a mug each too - ours were 18th birthday presents and have been used most days ever since!

I'm all scheduled for STS.

I definitely enjoy some reading time before bed as often as possible, too.

I've got a story in mind for Sunday, now I just need a few minutes to get it in writing! :>)

I'm so impressed that your mugs have lasted all that time.

I have a Wallander book to start any time now....although the other half gave a spoiler when he'd finished it. Don't you hate it when that happens?

Oh your mugs lasted longer than ours - we also got mugs for our wedding presents. I think we moved too much tho'.

Fun set of photos and stories - been mulling over and trying to decide what to use for the proper Storytelling Sunday and looking forward to sitting and reading everyone else's stories - it's on the calendar :)

How on earth have you managed not to chip those mugs? You clearly cherish them - and each other :).

I love that you still have, and use, those mugs. You have some great photos this week. I'll be looking forward to seeing the pages that result from them.

The photos are even better with your story behind them!

Yes, the No Parking signs are a pain, we have plenty here ... along with One Way Street signs ... boy, they are frustrating!

Great photos and like you I love to go to bed early and read for an hour! Rereading a Dick Francis at the moment - haven't read him for ages and really enjoying it. Story is all done and ready for Sunday x

Great photos!

Sadly reading in bed before sleeping is one of those things I had to give up as part of my insomnia therapy. I really miss it

Oh gosh, Storytelling Sunday time again already... where did March go? Must think of my Story...

Love the little card on your pillow - that's just great! And I also love the story behind the mug (and what the mug says too!).

I like to read in bed too. It helps me feel sleepy (sorry Stacey!)

A very nice post... just kind of interesting and cool.
And I don't mind if you Pin my stuff from Storytelling Sundays. That's fine!

I love the tone in tone effect your hipstermatic is giving your photos. They all have a similar feel to them. The colors in that first one are really lovely. I should see if I can identify some stories in mine. I usually just store my dailies.
