So, any plans for the weekend? I have the straps of a "Formal" dress to fix, the half of a sock I ripped out last night (don't ask) to re-knit, and this month's layouts to put away.That would include these two
which I put together for a post now up on the Gossamer Blue blog Single Versus Multi Photo Layouts.
But I found a slightly different story when I enlarged them and printed them out, each on its own. Thanks for looking!

Oh Sian I already have too many photos to scrap without trying to find more! (LOL). This is a lovely idea - especially for a panoramic shot.
I wish I had your skill at fussy cutting - I never seem to choose the right 'bit' and end up with it looking flat and boring. Two more gorgeous pages (and lovely stories) for your albums., x
How clever! I might try this one day but I'm with Louise in that I have far too many to scrap already! However I do like how it took you down a different path and a different take to tell. Gorgeous colours. The black really makes for a striking page on the first one and the pops of red seem to shout Scanndinavia (or maybe that's just me as my "second mum" was a Danish lady). Anyhoo, both lovely pages.
Nice idea - I'm a big cropper-outer to tidy up the edges of shots ... but I guess this is almost the opposite .. a cropper-inner!

A fun way to look at photos! Two beautiful pages. I especially love the large photo on the first page. The simplicity of the design lets that photo shine. So striking!
Another reason to visit Norway! That's a clever use of a photo and both pages are fabulous, as a pair and as stand alone pages.

What a great idea Sian! As someone who takes their camera everywhere I have rather a lot of photos and am always interested to hear about new ways of using or being creative with them. Love what you did with these, and your layouts are stunning. As always.
Oh, I really like that idea of pulling another story from items in the photos!
How neat that you were able to get 2 stories out of the same scene. Both layouts look great but I particularly like that first one - I think it's the woodgrain paper that reaches out and speaks to me.
Last night I tried leaving a comment and to say how much I LOVED the "together" layout, but my laptop was playup and wouldn't let me comment or pin our layout. So I can tell you how much I really wanted to pin it, as first thing this morning, I've logged onto our main computer and quickly pinned it in, my scrap lift it because I love it board xxx
