I got up this morning and thought about Abi's One Photo & Twenty Words and I looked around for a short little story to tell. And my eyes eventually came to rest on the one thing I've actually been staring at all week: the birthday party balloons..
What does it say about someone when she trips over the balloons all week instead of getting rid of them? |

That she's not quite ready to let go of the feel good factor of a celebration during exam season.
Balloons are fun and I can never pop them at the end of a party - it feels like murder. I have to let them go down naturally. This photo makes me smile :)
It says those balloons are a happy reminder of a great weekend and she'll keep them there until they go down of their own accord!
She is a fun person at heart :) I would leave them as well!
It says she likes keeping the FUN around as long as possible!!
It means that you are a scrapbooker and have a hard time discarding colour! Great photo.
That she's grateful for any and all reminders about how wonderful life can be in it's best moments....
That she's keeping the party vibe going all week.
It says birthdays last for ages and balloons are awesome
JO x
It says that she likes to keep tangible memories in front of her!
You should do a layout with all these replies about the meaning behind leaving balloons in your house!
I love balloons :-)
It says that they reminded you of a wonderful time, and of TNSSO and her marvellous friends.
They wouldn't last that long in our house, what with The Boy Child and the pooch!
It says that you want to hold onto the party feeling just a little while longer x
They were left to be enjoyed and to be used for this post!
it says if i leave them i can get away without hoovering for a while longer :)
They wouldn't last long here either x
Balloon murder is a terrible thing indeed. Less children's birthday parties to celebrate than there were too I dare say so holding on a little longer? I completely understand that.
It says she's treasuring the wonderful memories the balloons represent. Plus they're very colorful!
I once heard that you should leave a tiny piece of tinsel or similar in the corner of your room to remind you all year of the wonder of Christmas. These balloons are doing the same for you for the celebration of your daughter 's birthday.
Sooo... no-one has said it, which means I guess I have to. I LOOOVE the idea that it says you're a party colour scrappy love memories girl. BUT if you're to go to the flip side...it says you hate needles....for how else do you pop balloons??!!!! Course, you could do the balloon stomp. But you need to be a practiced practitioner. Mind you, for us flip-siders, it's a FUN [scary] challenge!!!
it says that you are festive and love happy memories!
It says you are a fun person!
It says you aren't quite ready to let go of that festive look in your home and the happy memories of a well-done surprise party that it evokes. Plus, they make for great photo ops!
It says you want to hold on to the cheerful colours and memory they hold and as Cheri says, they also make a great photo !
It says she likes happy, colourful things around her :)
love all the comments! I think it says that the celebration was so good, she's holding onto the happy memories as long as she can with this sweet, colourful reminder!
I thin kit says good memories are worth preserving in many tangible forms
That she's wondering if she can get the next party going and reuse the balloons?
It says you are happy. How did I forget Abi's meme?? Catching up will have to wait a minute now.
I don't know but it sounds like something I'd do.
