My Details: A Workshop Pass Giveaway

edited to add: this giveaway is now closed....and the winner is Jo. C who wrote Now this has created one of the best line of comments I have seen. I now want to know more about each and every one of these facts.
I have danced at the Royal Albert Hall and also performed as a tree and a crane there :0)

Thank you to everyone who entered. Every single one of your comments was worth a prize. I had such a good time reading them all.
So, who feels like a bit of journaling? Some inspiration for your writing? A new class?

My Details will be taught by one of my fellow Scrap365 Dt ers Kristin Tweedale, along with Megan Anderson from The Nerd Nest, and this is how they introduce it:

It’s all in the details--so document yours! Kristin from rukristin and Megan from the Nerd Nest have teamed up to help you document yourself. With amazing pre-classroom materials and 10 detailed prompts to help you record the important areas of your life, you’ll be inspired to document yourself in a meaningful way

Use the 10 prompts to document about your present details or use them to document about the you from the past, or do BOTH as Megan and Kristin have! They will inspire you with 40+ takes on the prompts between the two of them in the form of mini-book pages, pocket page spreads, traditional layouts, and more! You can return to these prompts again and again to document your details and can even return to them later to translate them into documenting the details of others!

Whether you’re a blogger, a mini book maker, a journaler, a pocket scrapbooker, or a traditional scrapbooker, we’ve got ideas for you to make sure you are telling YOUR story and YOUR details in your memory keeping! Join us--the pre-classroom is accessible NOW and prompts begin April 14

I'll be joining in and I'm delighted to be able to offer one From High in the Sky reader free entry to the My Details workshop. If you'd like to enter this giveaway, please leave me a comment telling me something about yourself - some crazy, random fact you haven't yet documented. Everyone is welcome to enter, regulars, newcomers, all of you, and I'll draw a winner on Friday 11th at 5.00pm GMT so that I have time to get your details to Kristin for the start of class on Monday.

Best of luck!

Looks like a very interesting class. I have to admit I tend to shy away from journalling on LOs or hide it! A crazy random fact...hmm...how about this one: I once lent Patrick Moore my umbrella.

Love the idea of sharing a crazy random fact. Always up for a new journaling class and inspiration.

Crazy Random Fact (cool blog post or page title there Sian) Archbishop Tutu once mucked up my weekend plans ;)

Well this does sound like an interesting class. Random fact? I once went white water rafting down the Zambezi with little baby crocodiles!

I've never tried sushi ~ is that random enough? Probably, but not as interesting as Patrick Moore, Archbishop Tutu or baby crocodiles on the Zambezi!

Great prize! My random fact would have to be that I died in 1999 and had to be resuscitated using a defibrillator!

Hmmm an interesting giveaway and an intriguing way to get a chance to do it for free ... Crazy Random Fact = I once dipped myself in red paint which gave my parents a bit of a fright, especially as they only had lighter fluid to clean me up with. In my defence I was only three!

This is an interesting one. How do you match some of these crazy random facts? Hmmm...

Oh now, I don't know about crazy but definitely random... I was serenaded by Andy Cameron (Scottish comedian)in a building society in Scotland. :P

I'm a bit like Fi, I tend not to journal very much. I wonder if that's because my scrap albums aren't going to any children.

Ok, I don't think I have any random facts ... Unless, I won miss world when I was about 2! Lol. Ok it was a baby beauty pageant and my aunty made my costume ( and actually come to think of it, pretty much most of my family were judges) lol

Such a great give-away, Sian, and looks like an enjoyable class too. Isn't there some wonderful random craziness on here in the comments already? Mine? I once had the Spanish Ambassador's head under my petticoats. (Just to clarify - whirling dance display, small space for manoeuvring!).

This would definately help me....I find journaling very difficult.
Not a lot in the way of random facts either....maybe that my DS weighed over 12 lbs at birth!

Crazy random fact: I set off the alarms at the Louvre in Paris---and, no, I wasn't trying to steal anything. I just bent over to see the needlepoint on a chair in a Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette exhibit.

crazy random fact, I live by the sea but can't swim! class looks very interesting x

Oh, we can all use help with telling stories, can't we. Crazy random fact about me -- I'm going to have to dig deep for this -- when I first started driving - I sideswiped a car right out in front of my house - it was late at night, the damage wasn't too bad, and the neighbor was very forgiving once we paid for his repairs.

This class looks interesting. Undocumented crazy random fact... I was published in "Who's Who in American Law" The Millennium Edition. I tend to terribly downplay my accomplishments and have never documented them all.

This sounds like something I could really use! I follow rukristin and I admire how she scraps herself... random fact: I have a Polaroid of Leonardo di Caprio from when he was about 16/17... :P

Random fact - I was once in the honeymoon suite of a hotel with an England footballer.
The class looks fun, what a great giveaway!

This sounds like the perfect class for me, as I do not tend to journal much about myself. I am often times the one behind the camera. THis class will motivate and encourage me to take time to put myself on the layouts.
Any interesting fact about me-I taught school in New Zealand about 22 years ago. I was able to go back 4 years ago and visit. I still need to scrapbook both adventures!

These are the best comments Sian..they've all made me smile, except Jo's which made me gasp!

I love rukristin, sounds like a perfect class. Random Fact..I once swam in the sea with sharks. At the time I had no idea the sharks were there and wondered why a helicopter was circling above. Apparently shooting them!!

Crazy, random fact ... Hmmm...

I met Kim Wilde and her dad Marty at my cousins wedding when I was 12 years old!

I've been reading a while, maybe since last summer, but maybe I've only commented once, or this may be my first time. Anyway, random, silly fact...in my early twenties, I had to be rescued out of the ocean by lifeguards not once but twice. Not same day, but same weekend. Very hard for a shy girl. I would love this class, I love journaling and would love the prompts. Thanks so much for a chance to win your generous giveaway. Michelle t

Great giveaway Sian and great comments. Random silly fact, I was there for the birth of two granddaughters and I thought my son was a good size until I saw Jacky's 12lb!

Sitting here with a cuppa laughing my head off at some of these random facts.

One about me well let me think.

When I was a young kiddie in the early 70s we stayed at the same hotel in the north east of England as Mungo Jerry and I had my photo taken with them lol

I know I"m late to the party, but I love this prompt so much. It reminds me of a class I once took from Shimelle called "I've Got a Secret." It helped me document a variety of random facts. A couple I haven't documented . . . I know how to read a racing form, keep a baseball score book and do a cartwheel.
