Well, look at me trying something completely new: patchwork for Fiona's Friendship Quilt. It's houses From High in the Sky.
Good for you! It is something I've been working on too .. a new way for me to use my brain!
Quilting is like scrapbooking and blogging, totally addictive. Welcome to the wonderful world of fabric and UFOs
Oh, they are lovely Sian. How cute are those little houses? It's good to try something new now and again.
And don't they look lovely....gorgeous fabrics and gorgeous colours. It's always good to try something new.
How beautiful and how appropriate to use fabric with little houses on it! So clever.Yesterday my husband and I went for a drive out to a craft centre as he wanted to pick up some strings from the guitar shop there. I noticed a fabric shop next to the guitar shop. Let's just say that I ended up spending more than him!
Love it - you crafty woman!
Lovely stuff- I'm loving the fact that I am actually enjoying sewing now and wish i could have joined in the friendship quilt - they are all looking wonderful x

Oh… I'm itching to try quilting myself but have not made the jump yet! This looks lovely! Great choice of fabrics!
I discovered during a brief quilting experiment that I like piecing quilt tops a whole lot more than I like the actual quilting. But I'm sure yours will be well and thoroughly dine. And who knows? It may the beginning of a new artistic expression for you.
What a perfect material for you! All this talk about quilts has me thinking I should pull out the one I started eons ago.
