November at Gotta Craft

I love making things for Sandra at Gottacraft. I really do. But sometimes I laughingly wonder if I take my brand loyalty a little too far. Lying in wet grass taking photos of pumpkins? Anything you say boss..

Actually the pumpkins were all my own idea. I can't blame Sandra at all. As soon as I saw the November kit I thought of pumpkins. Take note! Because this kit is full of Lily Bee's beautiful Memorandum line; and it won't hang about for long. These papers are perfect. Not only do they have lovely subtle patterns on one side - flip them over and they have ledger patterns on the reverse! I have already been back to the shop to order a Tiny Tablet of 6x6 papers because each ledger design is perfect for adding a journaling spot. And together they have the makings, i think, of my 2011 Christmas album. Look -

they work for Christmas designs too.

And those pumpkins? Shop bought. The harvest wasn't too good round here this year. Next year we'll start early.

Leaf shape cut with Slice, alpha from the kit and phrase sticker from the add-on

Very pretty with those deckled and roughened edges. Cheating on pumpkins? I promise not to tell little Em! :)

These papers are lovely, Sian, but I think you could make a paper bag look good. Oh wait...you've done that too! ;o)

I always love to study your detail, and my favorite little thing here is the Christmas tree cut from book paper! xo

Oooh, those papers do look lovely! Your first page totally rock in the colour combination (one of my fave) and I really like the leaves sticking out! The second one is a little simpler but just as pleasing to the eye :)

I don't think I could pick a favorite here; I love both of them. I haven't seen these papers yet. Put it on my list to look for when I'm in California later this month.

Lovely LO's with the Lily Bee!! Love the photos of the pumpkins store bought and all! ;) I always buy a pumpkin to sit on my porch steps. Love the second LO with the cute trees at the bottom! I have some of this Memorandum and just love it because of the ledger!! :)
Hee hee to laying in the grass for the photo!! Suffering for our art, I say!! ;)

Both are cute pages - I like the layers you've used and the dimension. Was the set of trees on the second cut with the slice as well?

As for the kit - you are tempting me and I'm saving my pennies for stash shopping in the States.

Two lovely LO's Sian :) and I would do something like lie in the wet for a photo too! (Maybe not at the moment though!!!)

Oh, I do like those papers! And the leaf cutouts were a great embellishment for the pumpkin layout.

My husband would think nothing of lying in wet grass to get a perfect pumpkin shot. That's why I love that he's the photographer in the family. I love the Memorandum line and bought up as much as I could! Great car photo and a lovely close-up shot!

Fantastic layouts Sian and you made me laugh envisaging you lying down taking the photos of the pumpkins!

The first thing I have noticed about your beautiful pages today, is that the first one, uses a paper which is very similar to one I have - that I use repeatedly. The background paper is like a digital range by One Little Bird, Peppermint Granberg is the designer - it is one of my favourite patterns and I have it in a variety of colours and use them often ... see, we do have some scrapping supplies in common .. who would have thought?!

I am not above buying props, or, getting myself into strange positons all for the sake of a photo ... you do what you need to do!

You had me smiling with your shop bought pumpkins!

You have such a lovely easy style to your scrapping - always inspiring to drop by here

I think props make sense! You need the tools to get the job done, right?

More beautiful layouts Sian - I do love those papers and the bits, very nice!

I can think of far better rwasons to lie down in wet grass than for pumpkins... but enough of that *lol*
Oh, Sian... your layouts are so gorgeous - it's not just the papers, but it's how you put them all together. They are great!

Layouts both look great. Love your store bought pumpkins. Somehow pumpkin buying passed us by this year but next week the Christmas decs start coming out.

Those papers are fab, aren't they! I bought the tablet and a few of the 12x12 purely to have a stock of journalling type papers (I blame Shimelle!) but actually the coloured sides are wonderfully versatile too. As always, you've made them looks fabulous.

They are gorgeous papers Sian, what a lovely kit...and fabby layouts too! :)

ha ha! I have to laugh that you 'cheated' with your pumpkins! Did little E come round and see them? And if so did he suspect any foul play?

The layouts are both gorgeous, definitely makes me want some of those papers. x
