I've been out and about looking for more photos, thanks to Rinda and her
Summertime Photo Scavenger Hunt

Not quite a "roadside memorial" but certainly the most interesting roadside anything I've seen lately. I'd love to know more about it |

A building made from metal or glass. Airport at 5.30am - with a soft urban action to give it a bit of atmosphere |

Cardoness Castle Scotland. Our first holiday stop |

Driving down England on the way to our holidays gave us plenty of chances to photograph rain |

But at least the sun shone when we got there. We found this little graveyard tucked away on a quiet hillside. There were lots of "Dahl's" buried there:relations of Roald's, maybe? I've left a corner of our ship (to the right) in this picture to remind myself how I wondered about the our intrusion in such a peaceful place

And that's as far as I've got. Still no sign of a unicycle yet, but I haven't given up hope!

that first structure is intriguing - I love public sculpture in unexpected places
yes, the rain , I think those of us in the UK could do a full collection on rain this summer !
Great photos - that first one is excellent
great photos Sian - the first one is most intriguing xx
Great shots, and I'm intrigued by the first one too :)
Where was the first shot taken? Norway?
Lovely photos - a great project!
You have done very well on the hunt ... I am wondering about the unicyclist too!
Fab photos Sian - especially the first one. Need to go and investigate what this is all about now
Great photos - I have yet to find a unicycle as well!
Love that first pic! I'm just about to go cheat a little for that unicycle, now that you've reminded me!
Alison xx
Love that roadside thingy
I've still to find a unicyle and a protest
These are great Sian, particularly love the graveyard as strange as that sounds!
That roadside sculpture definitely grabs the attention, doesn't it? I, too, would love to know the mystery behind it!
Loved viewing your photography! That sculpture is so different!! Very interesting!
You are making great headway, let us know if you find out anything about the roadside art!
That higgeldy-piggeldy structure is amazing. I wonder who thought that one up! Good luck with the rest of the scavenger hunt.
The first photo has me so curious, would love to know more about that! And my husband uses his zoom all the time to take photos of unsuspecting people. Good luck with the unicycle. My dad has one when I was a kid, wonder if there are any photos.....
What fab photos you've used for your scavenger hunt, good luck with the uni-cycle!
Love your rain photo - we've seen that view on so many holidays in the UK! Hope you get that unicycle soon.
Think I'm going to have to resort to taking off the front wheel from my husband's bike to get a unicycle photo ;-) I need to get stuck into that list now, every now and again I see something that I could use and I haven't got my camera with me - must get into the habit of keeping it in my handbag.
Great photos of some unusual things
Sian your pictures are amazing, how clever are you to catch such great things! It is all about stoping to notice things I think, I really should try harder!
I love that first photo! It's great to see these pictures Sian. I've thought of scouring a bike shop to find that unicycle, but what would the fun in that be?!!
I love the roadside sculpture - I always get excited when I come across something unexpected. The rain on the car windowscreen is good. It always so comforting to be inside in weather like that.
Nce job Sian. I captured a few mrebthis week on vacation.
