It's A Farm - But You Mustn't Tell

Ssshh! I'm making a felt farm for Little E, but it's a secret..

At the minute the outside still looks like this:

and the animals to go inside still look like a big pile of felt scraps, but I'm sewing as fast as I can. I bought the pattern from Bugga Bugs - an Etsy shop discovered by my scrapping friend Helen, it's now one of my favourite places to browse. When I've finished the farm I think I might move on to The Three Little Pigs, or the Noah's Ark, or some felt food, or..any of it really. The patterns come as PDF's and the instructions are extremely easy to follow. Highly recommended.

I'm racing to get the farm finished before the end of the month, so that it can become my project for this:

Annie The Felt Fairy's Monthly Make Challenge, which you can read all about here. One project a month - let's give it a go! Annie says she used to do a lot of scrapbooking - maybe if we work on her, we can persuade her back to the fold...

Little E is such a lucky boy. The farm building looks like it is coming along nicely and I can't wait to see the animals.

Hi Sian, what a lovely farm. E will be so happy. Thanks too for the link to the monthly challenge.
I have signed up, so will see you there. It will spur me on to finish the felt bird mobile I started to make for me new granddaughter. It was going to be a Christmas present, luckily she's only 6 weeks so didn't notice it was not finished and wrapped!
I look forward to seeing the finished farm :)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so tempted to play but am so rubbish at deadlines (as you know *g*) Plus with doing up the unit this month I haven't had time for much making... unless making a craft room counts. Hmmmm.

Can't wait to see the finished farm and also your version of Stanley.

What a walk down memory lane. My kids loved felt boards when they were little. We had a felt family and the three little pigs in felt. They loved telling the stories over and over. We also had a couple felt books. So fun to have a little one around to create for again!

Could you send some scrapping inspiration my way it's ages since I completed a layout and I feel the need.

I shall report in every month with my make too.

What a cute farmhouse! Those felt items remind me of Sunday School lessons with the felt board stories - I vote for the Noah's Ark next. :>)
