Halloween High In The Sky

Because Halloween on a Sunday is not for everyone, we are ready a day early here at High In The Sky. If you are round our way, you'll be welcome to call for a treat. If you dare...

As you can see, I have a Martha Stewart Halloween Special. And I'm not afraid to use it...

Postscript: Many, many thanks for all your wonderful messages of support and contributions to the debate after my post on Thursday. It's appreciated. A lot.

That's not horsey in disguise in the window is it? Have a great evening. I love your box balls by the way very stylish.

Yeah, is that horsey? Where is he lately? Does he turn into a warehorse at halloween? Or do horseys hibanate?

Am I supposed to be laughing? :-)
You look like you have something from the Jurassic era in the front room .... would be popular here!

Made me both smile and shiver! Love those box balls, too ... Any ducking for apples happening?

Fantastic window display! You're sure to be busy tonight with callers if they dare!

Oh I really do hope that is Horsey in disguise showing through that window, although I do like Alana's idea that he may turn into a Ware-horse on halloween (the mind boggles!)
Hope you get lots of trick or treaters!

Yes, laughing is definitely allowed because we are really not that scary!

There will be plenty of apple ducking and apple tart with hidden surprises and of course peeling apple peel off in one strip and throwing it over our shoulders to discover our one true love.

Horsey is not getting into the spirit of things at all. He feels dressing up might be beneath his dignity. Or make him look girly. And that would never do.

Funny you should extend this invitation, as I'm hoping we might be in your area some time soon - just waiting to hear back from our friend to confirm possible dates :-)

BOO! Happy Halloween... or perhaps I'm a bit late. Less people have problems with a Sunday round here - they are all out going round the village. DS is at home, but he's dishing out treats whenever some children come knocking on the door. He's quite happy with this arrangement.
I love your scarey shadow-creature. Is it a were-horsey?
The house looks pretty impressive actually!
