Busy, Busy

Do you ever have one of those days where you have a little time to create and you make something

Crate Paper, spray ink and a photo of a one wet, small boy

and you quite like it; but it's not enough, because you have seen so many wonderful, glorious ideas all over the internet and you want to try them all, but there aren't enough hours in the day, and then you think that you might be getting a little overstimulated and you need to STOP?

I'm having one of those days.

But if you have a minute, what I'm admiring is the handstitching on the Kinseygirl blog (wow!) and the folded paper flowers on the Sassafras blog this morning. That's what I'll be doing this weekend. After I've made the draw for Pass The Book, of course. See you then?

That layout is enough - just as is. Leave it alone! ;)

Great layout, I love the spray ink. And the photo is too cute!

I have those days everyday. I usually can't get to sleep at night because I'm thinking about all the lovely crafting I should be doing! xx

Oh, Sian, I know just what you mean. Seems like I have been on the go for the past few weeks and I'm ready to SLOW it down! I have a busy day of work ahead of me, then I have the next 11 days off! (yay me!) I plan to do lots of crafting and sewing. :o)

I just love the detail on the layout you have posted - the bunting made of stars is just too clever! I'm going to copy you! xo

And I love the flowers on the Sassafras link. I've made them before out of book page paper and loved the way they turned out!

Lovely! Loving all that 'white' space too! Is that great star-shape sprayed? Yep, we need a week for work and a week in a parallel universe for creative things!

I know what you mean about wanting to try out every technique you see on the internet, choosing just one is not easy. Loving the layout, with the different elements which make is interesting. The red duck umbrella caught my eye too - I have one just the same!

I have days like that all the time, because I keep seeing such lovely and gorgeous ideas on all the blogs I follow!! But I'll cope with the overstimulation 'cos it's worth it to see fab layouts like this xx

PS Managed to get enough internet connection to snag a subscription to Gotta Craft, woo hoo!!
