Love Your Pictures, Love Your Pages

Progress might be a bit slow, but that doesn't mean I'm not loving my pictures and loving my pages from Shimelle's new class. I've managed a couple of layouts so far and this one is my favourite:

I used Shimelle's very clever combine-a portrait-photo-with-some-kind-of-landscape suggestion to make a page about The Tall One and the start of his GCSE exams, with a picture of the man himself and a photo I took to illustrate a post about exam weather. I think I'll be coming back to this idea again: it's such a good way of using up all those "what will I do with that one?" photos.

Hey, progress is progress. Who's to say what is slow or not? I like way this layout is well laid out, and the combo of papers - nice.

Lovely page with a great choice of papers.
I'm sure that alarm clock saw a lot of use over the Summer exam series!

Great layout and the photos go together so perfectly - I agree, it's a fine way to use the photos that we like but we're not quite sure what to use them for!

Looking forward to seeing your new header - how are those skies for you today? xx

Thank you for your comment on my C+P thingy - you've no idea how excited I was to get that email! Very. VERY.

Great layout - I'm not getting on very fast with this class, what with being on holiday last week and being at work this week and the weather being awful! Hope you carry on enjoying the class :)

I have loved this idea of Shimelle's! By the way .... how receptive is TTO to you taking photos now days? I'm wondering how many years I have left - the seven year old is still ok for the most part.

Hope the exams are going well for the Tall One, bless him... Does he like your LO? I love your little journalling block and the things around it too.

Nice! That idea caught my eye as well as I was playing catch up & reading all 10 prompts last night! Too many classes but that's OK, it's nice how they wait. lol

It's a great combination of photos and papers. I'm really liking this idea, but haven't come up with a good combo yet.

Fantastic layout! I love your use of the patterned papers - I'm such a chicken - these look grand!

The class sounds very interesting, and like everyone is probably telling you, move at your own speed - otherwise you won't enjoy it (said the stranger from bloggy land, lol)
