It's Shoes Again

What is it with shoes in this house? We're either hoping certain feet don't grow any more (The Tall One at Size 11) or wishing for a miracle (and it happened: last week, finally, The Small One reached a 3. A whole vista of adult sized, illegal, high heeled school pumps has opened up before her).

But the shoes I like best just at the moment belong to their little blonde rascal of a cousin. His first pair. And a page to celebrate:

Today I'm Loving...Green Gal's Anne Of Green Gables poster. A nice quote ready to print out on A4 card.

First shoes are a definate landmark....love the page you've made....followed I hope by TSO's first illegal pair!!
I can't decide on my medium for Boot Camp either...the first prompt didn't help at all.

I like the design of this page. The stamped clouds are cute and I like the buttons made out of the OA paper!

I bet I'm not the only one to have kept my kids' first pairs of shoes! I love the fact you've made a layout of your nephew's shoes, a real growing up landmark.
So I wonder if your daughter will overtake you in shoe size ...! Apparently the average woman owns 17 pairs of shoes. My daughter is clearly using up someone else's quota as well as her own!

so very cute! i love the addition of the ticket ("going places") and the clouds ("the sky's the limit!")- so appropriate for a little one's first shoes and steps. :-)

Lovely! I like the yellow background paper and the buttons you've made.
I still have DS's first shoes. He's a bit big for them now - if he wanted to, just now he could wear my shoes - we're the same size (but luckily he doesn't think they're quite his style...phew!)

I'm just sorting a lot of little shoes at the moment, growing far too quickly over here!

Awesome layout! I remember the thrill of starting secondary school and testing the limits of sky high heels...A rite of passage, but a seriously painful one!

Love your page, and thinking how often I come here and you stimulate my memories. I wonder what the first shoes of my children looked like. I'm quite sure there's no photo to commemorate them.
