I'm thinking that by now lots of you will have seen Shimelle's wonderful post on the Hipstamatic iPhone app. To be honest, I wish I'd seen it before I started playing about the other afternoon. I did finally persuade The Small One to download it for me (why can't I crack the app Store? I don't know); but with a quick there you go and a brief (but firm) you owe me £1.19, she was off. I had been hoping for a bit more let me show you. But that's what you'll get if you check up on what Shimelle has to say. Really good stuff.
And once you've got the idea, you can have a lot of fun with the different effects. This is what I've come up with so far:

Makes me wish I had an iPhone!
It's well worth buying some of the extras. I love the Black Keys film and use that the most. It's a fun app and I'm finding I use it more then my other cameras!
Oh my goodness, I love these photos, Sian! Haha...and I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who relies on The Young One(s) to help with technology at times. ;o)
The wholw iPhone thing is a bit beyond me, but those images do look great. Aren't the small people fab at all this techno stuff??
Those are beautiful! I do have an iphone and can manage to buy apps, so maybe I'll get that today (and then go check out Shimelle's blog - or maybe vice-versa).

I downloaded Hipstamatic after Shimelle was telling me all cbout it at the NSD crop. I took some photos with it and thought I'd done something wrong!! (doh) It's great with the amount of effects and if you shake the phone it does random settings- still not done much more with it tho! x

Fabulous photos Sian - I was toying with the idea of buying some Apps for my husband for Father's day. Now I know that he just has to have this one for me to use!

They're great. I didn't really know what shimelle was on about but these show the versatility. I need to buy a 3G phone, but can't afford a real iPhone. Maybe I'll did deeper ino my piggy bank
