Sail Away With Me...Louise

I hope you enjoyed Storytelling Sunday this time round? I realised a few weeks ago that it was going to coincide with the start of our holiday - but cancelling just wasn't an option! So when I asked Uncle Dave to house sit, I also asked if he might have something for us and I'm delighted he said yes. Don't forget the linky stays open all week: you won't be late, you'll be perfectly on time and very welcome!

But, back to today.

With the help of some friends (thank you!) I'm trying something new for me. I asked if they'd like to take over while I was gone; and I'm thrilled to tell you they agreed. They have pulled out all the stops to bring you posts I think you are going to enjoy So, please, show 'em some love as they...

...Sail Away With Me

Today it's Louise's turn:

"I feel so honoured to have been invited by Sian to have a guest spot on her blog.
In keeping with Sian's theme Sail Away With Me I'd like to share a layout with you

My wedding anniversary is 4th July, so I thought it would be nice to share a little of "us". Fourteen years ago my husband asked me to sail away with him (after nine years together it was about time!) and this is where we ended up on our honeymoon.

No big cruises or romantic yachts, our boat was fixed firmly to the ground! It was just a swell as he suffers with terrible sea sickness.

Thailand was a place we'd visited early on in our relationship and we always said we'd like to go back and see more. Our honeymoon took us to Bangkok for sightseeing and shopping (for the girl), elephant trekking in Chang Mai (for the boy) and finally sun, sea and....sand, relaxing in Ko Samui

The tag holds the journalling and explains how we ended up honeymooning in Thailand - our honeymoon was originally booked for Egypt.

This country is my favourite place to have visited and I'm looking forward to returning someday.

Thank you to Sian for inviting me along today!

Louise, thank you! Aren't the pretty details in Louise's layout just something else? She has style - and you should make a point of hopping right over to her blog  Boys, Bugs and Beautiful Buttons to see more. There is always something lovely to enjoy over at Louise's!

That's a beautiful layout, I love the holes punched in the butterfly. Thailand is one of the countries that me and hubby visited on our travels and we liked it a lot too. x
