Yesterday I tried out my picture frame pinboard. Here I have it displaying a selection of the beautiful cards I have been sent in the last few months:
The board turned out to be very easy to make. I just took out the glass and used the clips on the frame to hold in a piece of chicken wire instead. A line of glue from a hot glue gun would hold it firm too. It's very light and easy to move about the house - maybe I'll find a different spot for my next picture!
Today I hope to make something with my pack of Plundered Pages, very kindly supplied by Julie from her lovely etsy shop The Carousel Zebra. If you like vintage ephemera you'll love these. "I cut up the books so you don't have to," Julie says. And of course that's perfect for me! She pulled together a wonderfully personalised pack of vintage paper pieces for me - I mean, look what she found:
It's almost too nice to use! Instead of sticking it down I might have to frame it. Thank you Julie. I love it.
Tomorrow...I'll still be laughing at the picture Helena sent me last week. I had been admiring her photos of New York, and expressing my complete envy of the fact that she had stumbled upon a film set for the new Batman film. I am a big fan of Batman, and I told her, so she made me this:
