Me On Monday

Monday again? Here I am!

trying out some chalkboard speech bubble stickers we brought back from our trip to Scotland a few weeks back. They're from a shop called Tiger  and we'd love one here, please!

It was a looks-like-the-nights-are-drawing-in-after-all kind of a weekend. An 80's fashion moment (everything she picked up I'd already owned at some stage in the past. I should have kept it.), doing my mending, sewing on buttons, curtain washing (don't know if they've shrunk yet, little bit scared to rehang them), bookshop browsing, picture hanging, hearing about Little E's new camera, Scottish shortbread eating, taking pictures of the reflections as the light fades down by the river kind of a weekend.

I'd love to hear how you got along with yours. Anything nice happen? Give me a wave and let me know! Last week Helena, Sandra, Deb, Ruth, Ladkyis, Becky, Fiona and Mel (and if I've left anyone out, please someone give me a shout, quick,) all shared a little of Me On Monday. I'm waving!

Whatever you have planned for the start of the week, I hope it goes well for you.

Oh I adore Tiger. In fact I was in one this weekend picking up a few bits for autumn decor.

We have a Tiger in Cambridge, they stock some very quirky bits and pieces don't they?
What a lovely photo of the reflection on the water.

Sounds like it was a lovely weekend there! We had a very relaxing weekend, hanging out on the patio (in shorts still!), grilling out, watching football, making cards, working on a puzzle . . . so much FUN!

I love Tiger as well...though our 'local' one isn't that local....so only get there a couple of times a year.

No Tiger here, but it sounds like it would be right up my street. That brown button reminds me of the Entrelac scarf I posted about! Waving back again today.

Lovely to see that photo of the reflections - you should show us some more of your great city :). Sounds like a getting-things-sorted weekend. Oh my goodness, how can the eighties be back in fashion? It was only yesterday!

oh, if there's a Tiger in Cambridge I will have to check it out when I go home at Christmas, after buying up Paperchase!! Love the reflection photo. We've not long ago finished last Christmas's Scottish shortbread - bought as a gag gift for husband. He likes Scotties, not shortbread! Thanks for dropping by, have a good week.

Oh I just picked up a box of those very same cookies, I justified the purchase of pure butter and sugar because they were giving a portion of the proceeds of every box to the ASPCA, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Oh I hope your curtains came out okay - unless of course you'd like an excuse to buy new! Have a great week.
