It was a bookshelf unloading, desk clearing, behind the bed vacuuming, old toy sorting, outgrown clothes bagging, paint choosing, IKEA visiting, tape measure wielding, boxing, tidying, moving, rearranging kind of weekend.
After much promising, and a couple of false starts, we have finally got going on The (Not So) Small One's Grand Bedroom Plan. If we don't reappear sometime round about the end of the week, send out a search party. You might find us under an avalanche of black bin bags...

Good luck with that!
Yes very similar to our weekend in fact!
Yep....you'll definately need luck there!
Oh you certainly sound like you're going to need a lot of luck and even more coffee.
We started a basement rehab project well over a month ago. I drove into the garage a while ago, and there is all the stuff we pulled out of the basement, piled in the garage. Yuck! I'm wishing you much better luck!
Sounds like a fun weekend - I love a good sorting and clearing out!
The sort of project I both love and hate. I am tackling my cabin this week so I am with you in the clearing and sorting! Good luck with the rest of yours x
Good luck on the bedroom makeover. I recently went through my room trying to pare it down a bit and clear lots of the junk. Many many bin bags were needed for that!
Much of the same happening here. Good luck to both of us!
We've done a cleaning out and paring down in my daughter's room too. Trying not to end up with boxes of stuff just to store. Good luck on the transformation - the fun part is coming!!
What FUN to be starting on the bedroom redo - hope it is going well!
We made headway on the Beast's former room converting into a guest room. At least enough that we had a guest in there over the weekend but then again 25 year old boys..men..aren't so picky.
Good luck!! We did some rearranging a month ago and still are not done with it.
There's nothing better than a good "clean out!"
I bet she was excited to get going on that! I need to do a bedroom cleanout or two.
Busy, busy, busy...I daresay the end result will be worth the effort. I'll be watching for an update.
P.S. I feel like a slouch--my biggest organizational effort this weekend was to print out and organize a bunch of recipes that have been stuck in various cubbyholes.
