Feel the Force

I meant to get back to scrapbooking today. I did. I have half a page on my desk waiting for me to finish it. But I was talking to a friend who has taken a stall at a Craft Fair next week; and she said "I'll have room for some some extras: have you got any cards or anything we could try?"

So I stirred up some stuff and made these

and then, because I'd found a design which was easy to repeat with variations, I made a completely different looking set too:

I've got another couple of sets to do and then I'm back to scrapping. Definitely...

..though don't forget - storytelling is on the agenda too. Storytelling Sunday next Sunday! Everyone welcome to join in with the May edition. I'm thinking of an outdoorsy story because Spring has finally sprung round here. Pick your Precious and I'll see you there

Flair from A Flair for Buttons
Paper from Studio Calico "Darling Dear"
Green heart - a gift from Jennifer and Susan's etsy shop. Thank you!

I'll be really cheeky now and ask how much you would charge for cards like that. I never know how much to tell my cousin who does Craft Fairs.

They look great Sian. Storytelling Sunday already? Have together my thinking cap on....

These are lovely Sian. I love simple design - often these have more impact. I hope you managed to sell them all!

Really pretty and such a great design. I love the stretch of "white" space on them too. I can't believe these won't do well!

I'm impressed that you were able to whip up some things for the fair so quickly! I know they will sell for sure. Great cards.

Fab, fun cards. Did they sell as individuals or as sets? Also interested in how much they wet for - tis always a struggle to price up hand-made anything at these fairs.

Lovely sets of cards,Sian....best of luck to your friend with the stall.

The first set looks like it might be popular as birthday cards for young boys or perhaps as congratulatory cards for graduation, first job, etc. The second set--all-occasion for sure.

These are lovely. You have a way with choosing colours and patterns.

Is the craft fair on May The Fourth? Sorry. Couldn't resist!

Lovely sets of cards - I do hope people at the fair appreciate them as much as we seem to x

These cards are so cute and appeal to all age levels. One can never have, or send, too many cards. :-)

Star Wars cards, whatever next? Mind you, The Boy Child would love them, as he's just discovered the Lego version of Star Wars and has asked for the films to be on his Santa list!

Ha! I was thinking the same thing as Clair! These look great and there certainly won't be anything like it on sale at the fair. I hope they go well.

Perfect cards for "May the Fourth be with You" day! LOL Robbie & I were just talking the other day about how International Scrapbook Day, May the Fourth be with You day, and Free Comic Book day are all "celebrated" on Saturday! I'll be scrapping with a friend and my Mama while he heads out to find some free comic books.

Melissa's comment made me laugh - tis my b'day on Star Wars Day and this year's it's International Scrapbook Day so I'm planning a day of doing nothing but scrapping :)

Fun cards, do like the simplicity of good designs you can tweak and change the feel of. The touch of stitching around the edges is lovely - hoping to have the machine out at the next house.
