Carry On LSNED

I'm carrying on tag making and staying alert to anything new around here. This set has a more masculine feel than the last, maybe? I might have to go girly again with the next batch.

What have I learned?

- that sometimes making it up as you go along isn't enough. It's worth taking the time to find out how to do it properly.
- that keeping a notebook beside the bed really does work.

- that the very first Girl Guide leaders believed girls shouldn't be overly boisterous because it would cause them to grow moustaches.
- and that when the dentist says "if I pack it with antibiotic dressing you'll be fine," he's erring on the side of - wrongness.

Thursday's post will be a bit later than usual, but please do keep an eye out for it. I hope you will like it.

Those tags are great - it will make a fabulous set, to hang in your crafting room. And I don't think they look particularly "masculine" - maybe just a bit less "girly" than the last set... but still rather fab really.

Hope you have sorted out the tooth issues... sounds "ouch"! I have to go and have a crown done next month, to make sure I don't eventually lose a tooth, which split in half after I'd had J. The "old wives" say you either lose your hair or your teeth... I suppose one tooth is forgivable - though the jury is out over all the grey hairs!

Have a good Tuesday!

You're certainly putting that Slice to very good use Sian:)
Perhaps you were too boisterous last week and that's what made the latest batch of tags less girly!

Love the way you are scrapping your lessons. The Girl Guide leader thing made me laugh but the dentist comment made me cringe. Hope whoever is having tooth issues is free of pain!!

Oh yes, I don't know how anyone can get a good night's sleep without a notebook by the bed to jot down ideas that might keep them awake!

Lovely tags, such a fun project! If what the Girl Guide leader said was true, I would have had a handlebar moustache by the time I was 12. Whew, dodged that one. Hope the dental annoyance has passed and the pain is gone!

These beautiful tags inspired me to get out my Slice and make a few myself. I'll get the cards posted soon, but none quite live up to what I'm seeing here!

Ooooh...I love this. But you know I love garlands/banners/buntings so this is right up my alley.

Your LSNED project is awesome, Sian. I always love studying your amazing details...so glad you have some great photography skills to present them so nicely on your blog too.

Not liking your learned something about the dentist though...ouch! xo

Dentistry is so draining isn't it?! I am very much loving these tags, I think the colours are wonderful and they are crying out to me to use them too.

Well I was a guide, and then a brownie leader & I never heard the fact about growing moustaches! Loving your little tags still :)

I try to avoid the dentist as much as possible :) I love the argyle print paper. Which paper line is that, if you don't mind me asking? Also, what do you use to do your inking on the edges?

I think I have tagged all of your tags so far! I love them as a banner. I wouldn't normally use this colour scheme but I totally adore it. Storing up the ideas for later
