Five Moments I Really Should Scrapbook..

...as soon as possible:
  1. A phone call from a blog friend who turns out to be just as warm and funny and nice in real life. We chatted for over an hour and agreed that we would spend another hour together soon. Jo, it was an absolute pleasure
  2. The Small One suddenly remembering how, as soon as she learned how to write her own name, she monogrammed everything in sight. One morning we discovered an entire fruit bowl of labelled bananas.
  3. Little E, who wished everyone a "Happy" on January 1st because words failed him at the crucial moment.
  4. The Tall One suddenly remembering his Grand Prix playing days. We used to know we were in for one when he opened his eyes and the first thing he said was "You not Mummy. You Bernie Ecclestone."
  5. Gary The Magnificent. The hamster who finally woke up.
And one I did get round to. The title page in my Yesterday and Today album.

Whatever you are up to this weekend, I hope it's a great one!

Oh, yes, now they sound like stories I'd like to hear about. Lovely title page for Y&T ~ full of vibrancy.

These sound like fabulous things to scrapbook about. I particularly like the one about monogramming bananas!
Once, I asked my hubby what he wanted to eat for a snack when I was on the way to the kitchen. He jokingly asked for 'a blue banana'. 10 mins later I reappeared with a peeled banana painted with blue food colouring. I think I have a photo of it somewhere, that's definitely one to be scrapbooked too I think! Thanks for reminding me of it! xx

What a lovely LO - looks as if it tells a story about hair-style/length? Great five things - Im'a nother fan of the banana story, although anyone who is able to say 'Bernie Ecclestone' on awaking, when they're not yet able to do full sentences, has my great admiration. :)

Love your "fives" and the sweet layout, Sian. How fun that you got to have a convo with a blog friend!

I'm off to do a little vintage and craft shopping with Carrie and a friend! Should be a fun weekend.

Lovely intro page for Yesterday and Today. I'm hoping to get a few cards created for upcoming birthdays as well as a project for Scrap-Mart. We're off to see The King's Speech later this afternoon.

These are all such lovely memories, will love to see how you record them. The little moments/words/happenings are sometimes the most special ones.

These all sound like great pages To Be. I took Ali's class last year and made the title page layout several times: for myself, one for my husband and one for each of my siblings. Just loved the idea of pairing a current photo with ones from the past.
