Cate's Blog Baby Shower

Today my blogging friend Deb is hosting a Blog Baby Shower for Cate from Life Behind The Purple Door; and I'm delighted to be showing up with my contribution!

Baby showers are a bit of a new invention round my neck of the woods: I haven't been to one before. But I'm guessing there would be much laughter, many congratulations all round..and gifts. Deb asked us to create some pages for a baby album to send to Cate and this is what I made:

I kept them plain so she could add her own touches. And purple: of course, they had to be purple! Cate, I hope you like them. With very best wishes from everyone here. We're looking forward to lots of new baby pictures very soon!

Please check out the other contributions over at Deb's here. I'll be back on Saturday with a special Blog Hop. Oh, and don't forget - Storytelling Sunday this Sunday.

  3. You know, at one point while receiving scrapbook pages from blog friends in the mail, I almost forgot that this party was for CATE and not for me. Haha! I loved receiving the pages and putting them in an album for Cate - and yours were simply lovely, Sian. It was so much fun being able to see your scrapbook pages in person! :o) Thanks so much for participating today. Hooray for Cate and her new baby!

  9. Oh these pages are beautiful! What a brilliant idea for a baby shower. They really are the best. In Eastern Canada they were held before the baby arrives. Out West, they hold them after the baby arrives. It is great because everyone gets to meet the baby and mom gets a break while everyone holds the baby.
