Happy St. Patrick's Day

Little quiet on the blogging front here. I've been catching up on things I didn't get done at the end of February and clearing my head for projects I have planned. BUT I couldn't let today pass without wishing you a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We'll be eating a celebratory feast of homemade potato bread ("It's my favourite food group" said The (Not So Small One)). If you fancy making some yourself, my recipe is here

Have a good one!

  5. Wooooooow. I'm home alone and therefore seeing comfort food, is it a sign that my housemates left me two potatoes and a fridge full of butter? Definitely making this for tea, tfs!

  15. Yum, there isn't such a thing as too much potato is there? I made the colcannon tonight and we loved it, I'm sure this would have been a hit as well :)

  16. Our tiny nod to St. Patrick's day was a grilled corned beef and sauerkraut sandwich. Yummy! and much less work than the brisket and fixins' I used to do. Hope the day was a good one.

  17. Hope it was a tasty as it looks. St Pat's day always gets subsumed with Princess's birthday but potato pancakes and soda bread are a regular treat. May put them on the menu for next weekend.
