A Few "F"'s For Fursday

From High In The Sky today I am:

  • Fantasizing about an hour curled up with a book this afternoon. Instead we are off to the orthodontist (wish us luck)
  • Fielding a clutch of questions all beginning with  "At Christmas, when I get my hamster.."
  • Finding Folksy easier to navigate than Etsy
  • Ferretting through the fashion at a favourite new blog That's Not My Age. For the ahem,(slightly) more mature among us
  • Feeling just a little bit foxy in my new cord dress
  • Fessing up to feeling slightly tearful, but very thankful, every time I think about the blog hop. Still. Thank you to everyone for your comments and mentions and everything.
  • Flying a flag (alright then, a banner) for Kate of Liberty Cottage who is the winner of my blog giveaway. Please get in touch Kate and I'll put it in the post.

Since I finished my little banner, I've been thinking about sewing some more felt. So I've searched out my favourite felty finds and here they are:
Whatever you are up to this Thursday - have a good one!

  10. Ooooh! Fabulous Foxy Frock!...very Fetching! Thanks for all the Fabulous Felt links too! Hope all went well at the Orthodontist! DS2 has also asked for a hamster but I just say NO!!! Not that I don't like hamsters...it's just being nocturnal they do tend to be at there most noisy after bedtime!!! Not good when he wants to keep one in his room!!!

  12. I'm glad you mentioned the dress as I was drooling over it as soon as I saw your piccy. I don't 'do' dresses but just might have to when I hit my goal... mind sharing whre from and whispering the price - you look huhmazing in it btw!

Hamsters - *shudder* I remember Devvie getting one after begging and pleading and puppy eyes and many, many, many promises that she would do all the looking after... yeah well, you can imagine who did end up with hamster duties and she was to scared of it biting her to play with it so guess who got that job too. I accidentally let it escape one day just to see her screaming and heading for the hills. Mwahahahaha!

  13. Fun post. And oh boy on the hamster! I just can't go there again, lol. We had with the older kids and I'm done. 2 1 year old pups & a cat are enough. :)

  17. Oh, I'm not sure about a hamster ... have you run this past Horsey? I'm not sure he will be happy sharing his position as family pet.
Great self portrait by the way!
Hope the orthodontist trip went well, I suspect it maybe the first of many!

  20. Well, good on for the small one. I can't tell you the number of times Clara has slipped the item "kitten" onto the grocery shopping list in hopes that her father will absent mindedly pick one up at the store (I guess).
We've had a quiet useful holiday here today. Finally posting (tomorrow) the story you inspired of my husband meeting my dad for the first time. Thanks for the inspiration.
