Today I'm joining in with Helena's photo series "Look Up, Look Down". I'm either late for last week or early for this with two photos I took in Scotland while we were travelling back from our holidays. We had stopped for an icecream at a lovely little place called Gatehouse Of Fleet; and, as we wandered round, discovering unexpected treasures like these, I couldn't help wondering if this was a road we would be getting to know well...
Down first, with wicker sculpture set into a stone wall and Up with a wooden lookout man reaching high up into the trees |
..and on Thursday last, we had our answer. The exam results finally arrived and that means we are Looking Ahead here too. Our boy cracked it. He got what he needed (and more) to secure the place he had been looking for nd he's off to study Law in Scotland in September. We're proud, relieved, happy and looking forward..a new city, along a new road. I hope we can keep up..
Brilliant news! And a whole new chapter for you all. Looking forward to more lovely Scottish snippets snapped by your keen eye for detail and texture Let the adventure begin!
