May?

..hey..May..it's been a while. But, for the sake of completeness, I finally sat down last night and put together my What's Hot and What's Not page for the fifth month of the year

No really new news on this one, apart from, maybe, the Magic Bullet kitchen gadget, which arrived as a birthday present for the teenager who loves to cook. It makes Frappuccinos: what's not to love?

Now, June? Soon...

  5. Very pretty page and I like the clever idea of scrapping the photo of part of a book!

PS: I also have to tell you that thanks to one of your earlier blog spots (about purchasing a suit for the Tall One), we are now addicted to SUITS! We had never heard of it before and we have all been watching for the past two nights ;)

  6. what a great way to sum up the month. my cousin, who is in college, just raves about the magic bullet blender and claims she can't live without it. I might have to get one for myself... :-)

  7. The Magic Bullet is the most used item in our kitchen - we use it to grind Logan's food - Craig makes bird soft food with it and it's just in constant use... though I never realised you could make frapuccino's with it :)

Best of all it gets chucked in a big tub in the cupboard and takes up no room at all :)

  10. Sarah got a Magic Bullet as a wedding shower gift, but sadly, it did not hold up very well. I'm happy to see you're working on May. Now that June is nearly over I have three months of my art journal to do!

  13. I have seen the TV adds for the Magic Bullet and wondered if it was 'too good to be true'? I have never done a monthly type page as I am afraid of the months that I don't have anything to report.

  14. I haven't a clue what a Magic Bullet is so am ff to google after this! Lovely page as ever - these must be building up into a pretty little bunch by now. Hoping the exam fever will be over by now ...

  16. Awesome layout Sian. Henry won a toaster, a blender and a coffee maker at Grad Night. He was very happy!

  21. I make my smoothies in my stainless steel Kenwood blender - and make fraps too. My never fail chocolate/mocha recipe is on the blog somewhere too...

  22. I never completed my May art journal page either, now that you mention it! I'll have to see if I there's any inspiration for that when I finish rearranging the front room.
