Wow! These pages are amazing! Loving every last thing about them. Oh the 7-11 Slushie. When my girls were little they would mix all the flavours into one cup. It would turn a greenish brown colour and then they called it "swamp water". Gross. All the kids did it. It was the thing to do. LOL
Looove how you use typing for your journaling. I'm too lazy to get the computer out, most of the time.....doesn't stop me loving how you do it! And the top one with the little 'weather' grouping. GORGEOUS! Love that touch of gold glitter. of course!!!
WOW! You knocked it out of the park with these layouts! The list of things I love about #1 would take forever to record, but I'll start with the border, the tilted photo block, the glittery SUN---and say I do empathize with the topic. Our summer hasn't been as bad as yours, but the last couple of winters have been the grayest ever!
I laughed at the journaling for the first page, because I took my prescription sunglasses to the States and didn't wear them once ... but that was more a case of getting along much better with my varifocal contact lenses. Those photos of TNSSO are terrific!
Both of these are lovely - though that top one is my favourite :). I so admire the way you've tucked that photo in, so that it nestles in your cluster of embellishments. Very neat. Then there's the lovely colours, of course. Plus that great stamping (?) round the edge ... Sigh!

ReplyDeleteGreat layouts - of course, I especially like the yellow accents. Off to read more about them on the Gossamer Blue site!
ReplyDeleteYou always get it spot on
ReplyDeleteWe have certainly forgotten what hot summer days are here.

ReplyDeleteI am loving these layouts - this is the post I was trying to comment on before.. lol!
ReplyDeleteI love your choices!
ReplyDeleteLove these two pages - the layering on the second one is gorgeous. I can never quite achieve that look!
ReplyDeleteReally love how your photos and stories are center stage on your pages.
ReplyDeleteThe weather must be recorded & noted when there are just such perfect accessories just waiting to be used on a page.
ReplyDeleteLovely pages....shame about the weather!!

Gorgeous pages. I love clusters on layouts but I'm rubbish at it!

ReplyDeleteLove the lightness in both of the layouts! Yes I would expect ordering a slushy in Norway could be a bit of an adventure!
