I always like to give everyone a week's notice for Storytelling Sunday. So here you are - it's on next week! Come one, come all. If you haven't joined in yet, please let me encourage you to pick a picture and jot down a few words. That's all it takes.
Here's one I made earlier as a follow on to last Sunday's page
Little E came for a visit on Friday. He inspected my crumbs. He hauled his toy Dyson out of the car.
"I am, he announced, "all about the hoovers."
Have a great Sunday! (and I'll see you back next week?)
Yum, have you eaten him yet? Jen xx
ReplyDeleteNow I see where the previous crumbs comment came from - what a cutie-pie!
ReplyDeleteYour tales about him really do make me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteOh to be so focused as such a young age!
ReplyDeleteHe really has a thing for the vacuum doesn't he?!
ReplyDeleteDo you vacuum together when he visits? Save it especially? ;-)
I bought my great-niece a toy Dyson for Christmas. My son was horrified. 'These is stereotyping at such an early age, teaching her she is only capable of housework etc etc etc I can't believe you bought her that, whatever made you do it?' 'Because when I asked her mum what to get her that's what she said she wanted'. Silence. He'll be thrilled to hear that little boys have them too!
ReplyDeleteLove your posts with little E in - makes me smile every time! x
ReplyDeleteHe really is just too cute! I love his little comments :o) xx
ReplyDeleteGotta love Little E!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx
Glad to see Little E is starting at a young age. I have to say I am NOT all about the hoovers!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to hire him,please!!
ReplyDeleteAnother Little E gem :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! He is just a star ... Taking cues from his auntie. :)
ReplyDeleteWe prefer a 'Henry' here though he can be a pest following you around and getting trapped in doorways..
ReplyDeleteWhat a great comment! I love children's expressions :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, he is adorable! He reminds me of my youngest at that age who also wore cute little glasses like that.
ReplyDeleteawww bless!
ReplyDeletePerfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little boy!
ReplyDeleteMy Nathan had a toy Dyson when he was two & used to follow me around when I vaccumed with my full size one! I only recently gave it to our neighbours for her little girls & Nathan (now age 13) was sad to see it go!! Little E seems a real character!! Next Sunday duly noted in the diary!! :D
ReplyDeleteLittle E's comments always bring a smile to my face! And he's just as cute as his observations.
ReplyDeleteCan Little E come over to my house? I have some crumbs that need to be vacuumed! ;) Such a sweetie! He sounds like he is all about the vacuums.
ReplyDeletecan i borrow him for a few weeks! he is such a cutie and productive, it sounds like. :-)
ReplyDeleteHe's far too cute for words :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to have Little E for a visit with his toy Dyson :)
ReplyDeletewhen my son was 2 he was OBSESSED with his look-a-like vacuum! Best $30 I have every spent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder. I love that photo of little E!
ReplyDeleteRinda
LOL...looks like his mum has trained him well...he will be a keeper! Thanks for the reminder, I will try to be here on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI have it on my calender, but I haven't decided on a story! I'm sure it'll come, any second, soon, very soon, hmmmm.....
ReplyDeleteLOL! What the heck? Did his mum do lots of vacuuming whilst he was in the womb? Perhaps we should clone him ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your Little E posts. It's definitely giving me ideas for Sunday's post. I think he & my great nephew would get along great. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww he's too cute!
ReplyDeleteHow funny is he?! I love his cheeky little face too.
ReplyDeleteNow see if I'd managed to read blogs over the last two weeks I'd have been reminded. Thankfully first Sundays are renowned here for another reason. The only guaranteed no other meeting Sunday - so I rejoice and then remember SS and start to plan :)
