Last time Little E came to visit he hopped up on the sofa beside me and leaned forward expectantly.
"I think he wants you to answer his questions," his Mum said. "He seems to be carrying out some kind of survey. It was Granny's turn yesterday."
And so, in the interests of scientific research and understanding, I answered Little E's questions

New Cosmo Cricket from Gotta Craft and some scraps of Echo Park's Charming |
- Do you like spiders?
- Do you like frogs?
- Do you like laptops?
and my personal favourite
- Do you like biscuits as much as I do?
I did ask him if he would like to offer me a free gift as a thank you for taking part. His Mum said I needed to give him a chance to collate the results first.
My page today has been entirely inspired by a wonderful Roree Rumph for Pink Paislee layout I pinned onto my Sweet Scrapbooking Pinterest Board.
Was he surprised by any of your answers?
ReplyDeleteSo cute - I wonder what answers he got? My youngest does this - she has a clipboard and goes round us all - writing it all down and then collates the answers!
ReplyDeleteI love this! The page and the questions. Wouldn't adult relationships be easier all round if we just came out and asked people about their priorities and preferences? Would save a lot of time getting to know people ... ;-)
ReplyDeleteLittle E is a smart and clever chap!
ReplyDeleteLovely page, Sian.
So cute! And what a fun page you made of it.
ReplyDeleteY'know what? With each delightful little story like this that I read, children grow on me more and more :p He sounds like a very bright bean, will he be producing some sort of academic paper based on his findings? ;)
ReplyDeleteawww bless him! I love the placement of all your elements Sian, a great layout and title!
ReplyDeleteI think jeremy Paxman could take tips - the last Q is a cracker (pun intended)!
ReplyDeleteADORE this, Sian, looooooooove it!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic idea to document this and I adore the LO - so lovely!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat LO Sian:) Those questions are just too cute!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent. That page will be treasured in the future
ReplyDeleteHow stinkin' adorable! hee hee
ReplyDeleteWhat a great page to treasure!
Hugs,
Kay
Oh that Little E is soooo sweet! I wish he could come for a visit at my house! The little people in our lives make life so much more fun! A lovely LO and design. Perfect inspiration as a jumping off point. I enjoyed looking at your scrappy file on Pinterest. What you have there really highlights your scrappy style! :)
ReplyDeleteThis page is so original. I love all the interesting moments of life that you document. And Little E seems to be a totally awesome little person. Oh how I wish I'd been a scrapbooker when my boys were little!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've dotted everything about,Sian....a lovely page.
ReplyDeleteAh, the workings of little boys' minds! Wonder how he got from frogs to laptops? Lovely layout.
ReplyDeleteWell? Do you? We all want to know too. My answers (invade you or little E would like to know) is no,no,yes and probably:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely page to go with those totally cute questions!
ReplyDeleteHe's full of questions isn't he? Lovely page and record of his inquisitiveness.
ReplyDeleteChildren - they are so beautifully innocent x
ReplyDeleteLove his choice of questions...and your LO!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx
Little E is so cute!! I love his questions and can't wait till Alice is a little bit older to see what she'll come out with :) xx
ReplyDeleteYou wonder what goes through their heads sometimes don't you?! It was clearly important to him if he kept it going over several days.
ReplyDeleteTotally in love with this. The floating elements remind me of all that stuff floating around in a little boy's inquisitive little head! I used to have one of those around, he kept me on my toes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun layout! I'm curious about your answers.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. he's pretty cute. Okay, answers - I don't like frogs, but I do like spiders. I love my laptop, but I'd rather have a bag of crisps than a biscuit. I don't think he was too surprised by the answers. He has the measure of his aunt!
ReplyDeleteI really wonder what goes on inside their little heads sometimes! And just for the record, I like them all, except spiders. And, I even try to be considerate of spiders ever since a conference roommate of mine (from Africa) explained the idea that spiders are our ancestors come back to tell us something!

So bright and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable and so well done! I love the tones but also the different fonts/numbers! I just created a similar page with no photo though ~ Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful Sian. How lovely to have a Little E.
ReplyDeleteSuch a very sweet page - love those numbers and the happy lemony yellow. He's a little treasure.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout and I love the survey :)
ReplyDeleteReally like the mixture of fonts on the page.
ReplyDeleteInteresting selection of questions, love having small visitors. Was slightly sad not to see any small visitors today - although the adult time was much appreciated by us both too.
Your first two made me smile - my kids hate it when I'm at that stage as I start handing out jobs and their dad says, "Don't let your Mom do anything - you do it!" :)
ReplyDeleteYeah on the dress - have fun wearing it knowing it was 75% off!
What a fun page. I'm guessing Little E runs his parents ragged, so I'm guessing your willingness to participate in his survey was much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteYour Little E stories always bring a smile to my face. Quick thinking there on his Mum's part. :)
