Tuesday, Tuesday

Yesterday I made a page about Little E and his thoughts on Christmas:

Made with leftover October Afternoon Rocket Age
Though he did say this a couple of weeks ago now. Maybe he has moved on. Maybe Christmas is up and running over at Little E's place.

Today I hope to get things moving right here in our house. I'm going to make some Christmas cards.

Words and shapes cut with Mistletoe Slice card
Tomorrow I'll be hoping Sandra is nearly ready for Christmas at Gotta Craft. I made some tags her - keep an eye out on the shop blog for more.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. I'm loving the touches of blue on the tags. So fresh.
Great L/O - a reminder I should write down some of the corkers the grandchildren are saying at present re Santa. I do love Little E's idea though!

  2. E colours and rocks are great, its a really lively layout. I think I need a mini book of things my kids say right now! Maybe I will use the bags for that (no, I haven't forgotten...)

  8. They said the funniest things - wish I'd written down more of what mine have said in the past. Love your layout. Good luck with the cards. I was thinking of putting a slice on my christmas list - do you use yours alot? Does it take up much room?

  15. I'm with Little E & Christmas definitely won't be 'open' here until at least the 4th December!!!

That said, I'm loving your Christmas tags...especially the faux stitching on the blue words! :)

May I also say that I've now had time to scan back through your last few posts & I am totally blown away by your chicken-wire-in-a-frame 'pinboard' idea!! What a wondeful way to display cards & also use as a mood board...I just HAVE to make me one of those!! (...before you slap a patent on it LOL!!)

  18. Ok. I think I might have to ban myself from reading your blog for a while... because you keep making me want to buy stuff! Seriously. I recently caved in and bought a load of Rocket Age items because I loved how you used it. And in the same order I bought a Martha Stewart Doily punch because I kept spotting it on here and liking it. And now, as a little birdie has told me (or, in truth, I've had it out of the box to test it already) I'll be getting a Slice for Christmas... I now want the Jingle Bells design card. What are you doing to me? And my bank account?

Great projects, by the way. As always. So I will of course keep coming back despite the effect it has on my finances!

DS tells me, "It's not Christmas yet, it's too early!"
