Just Because

I've been doing a lot of storytelling lately, what with Storytelling Sundays and Yesterday And Today, with its emphasis on "words and pictures". I've been enjoying it very much. But I still believe there is a place for a "Just Because" page.

Just because I like to cut up paper and glue it down

Just because I like to think about colours and patterns and reflecting a mood

Just because I have had these words in my head for about twenty years now

And just because I still believe you can say a lot in only one sentence

I made this:

With a complete mix of stuff (from Jenni Bowlin, Crate Paper, Glitz, Studio Calico and Prima) and an old passport picture of me. And some words from the song No Frontiers by Jimmy McCarthy

    Gorgeous! I love how certain lyrics are inspiring. I decided not to sign up for Yesterday & Today. I took the money and bought a "one little word" necklace instead. LOL! I'm happy with that use of resources.

    Fantabulous background cardstock you have used there - loving the textures it creates.

    Lovely page, the little aeroplanes make me think of airmail envelopes and I like the butterfly partly hidden in the background. Fab layering! x
