A Toast

The last day of the year. It makes you think, doesn't it?

I was going to be flippant with this:
But can one still make resolutions when one is over forty? I live according to twenty-year-old habits (Andre Gide)
Or more reflective with this:
For last year's words belong to last years language
And next year's words await a new voice
And to make an end is to make a beginning (T.S.Eliot)
But what I really wanted to say was thank you to everyone who has visited me here over the last couple of months; to my followers (whose smiling faces make me happy every time I post); and to my comment queens who keep coming back and chatting. Thank you! You make my day. Every day. Let's raise a glass and look forward to 2010 together..

    OMG can't believe you have a soda stream! They were definitely there in the 80's I thought my mum and dad were terrible people for BUYING lemonade and soda and not making it!

    I am glad I 'found' your blog this year and will keep returning in 2010. You make your posts so interesting and there's always a glorious splash of colour! Add in your scrapbooking talent and you cannot keep me away!
    Never had a soda stream - I was definitely deprived.

    those soda stream bubbles always seem so much bigger and fizzy than in lemonade etc.
