I'm glad you shared your story of how your crafty interest unfolded as I think we all have a similar story to tell. Some things were learnt at school, some taught by our Mums and some self taught but I guess we are learning all the time. Themes? Maybe I'll do a post on my craft beginnings . . . embroidery and counted cross stitch; my first scrapbook page, etc.
As for telling my life via an evolution of things, it strikes me that the art journal which I started for Shimelle's class "When I Grow Up" is just that. It's about what I wanted to be be at different stages in my life. Reminds me that I should get back to that.
Thanks for the wonderful week!
RindaMaria Ontiveroshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00120998825608732473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328228070357271563.post-86536717746814114712011-07-29T16:54:09.546+01:002011-07-29T16:54:09.546+01:00A terrific series and I loved hearing about your s...A terrific series and I loved hearing about your scrapping days! I love how you kept your design the same throughout. This is a wonderful beginning to an album all about your crafting. I would love to see a reading series. For me, the thing I often think of is the seasons of my life. I think I would document my husband and I as childless, then having young children, teenagers, and now we are empty nesters. The last would be when we have grandchildren. Everything is always a full circle! :)Jennifer Shawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05489870773549675036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328228070357271563.post-88557846510400671932011-07-29T16:38:04.330+01:002011-07-29T16:38:04.330+01:00Great week of blogging Sian, funny how similar we ...Great week of blogging Sian, funny how similar we crafty folk are when it comes down to life in general

Lisa
xxLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12397910589851628578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8328228070357271563.post-21675210142164663282011-07-29T16:37:39.719+01:002011-07-29T16:37:39.719+01:00this has been such a lovely series Sian, the pages...this has been such a lovely series Sian, the pages you have made our beautiful.
