Simply Scrapbooking for Single and Pretty

Simply scrapbooking today, with a couple of the pages I was asked to make for the Get It Scrapped membership class "Single and Pretty". These are two of the layouts I'll be talking about in detail during my second webinar on February 26, so for now I'll just say how much I enjoyed making them. Single and Pretty - using one photo and lots of carefully thought out embellishments - has always been my default scrapbooking technique, so with these layouts, I had a lot of fun.

For this one I used a picture I collected whilst out hunting for Rinda's now famous Summer Scavenger Hunt

and for the second, a photo from Me On Monday:

I'll be back Monday-ing tomorrow. See you then!

  3. I always love the little, tiniest details you include on your layout. It makes me really want to study them. I really like how you decorate your banner with this and that. It's these little details that make all your pages so interesting.

  10. Yup. It's the journaling [& such COOL handwriting!] followed by the thoughtfulness of the bits & bobs that really capture the eye & draw you in. My favest of faves is that big banner stretching right across the page on the top LO....I'm not sure I'd be able to pull that one off, but you do. Effortlessly!!!

  18. Two beautiful pages! I love single photo pages the best. Hey, I just bought that Teresa Collins line you used in the second page. Love the oranges in it. We always seem to like the same stuff! Fun to see the way you used it. :)
