I Flipped...

I'd just about reached the end of a packet of Teresa Collins diecuts (from a kit by Gossamer Blue) and I was seriously thinking about trying to find some more, when I flipped the packaging over and discovered that each of the shapes was printed in miniature on the back..

so I grabbed my scissors and cut them all out...

...and decided to make some cards..

The big arrow is from the original pack: with one small and one large shape I was able to play with scale. The doodled circle is a rub on from Crate Paper

....with one diecut on its own...

...and with a handful gathered up into a cluster. Definitely two for the price of one, whatever way you look at it.

  3. I like it when they have an index of the items on the back - but I usually cross them out as I use them - in fact, I had just put that into a blog post. But you have me rethinking that. Those are so cute on cards.

  12. Oh lovely cards and diecuts, been thinking about that kit too. I do like it when there is a copy on the packaging, I realised going through my home made PL cards how many are made from packaging.

  17. You give new meaning to the phrase "waste not, want not" and end up with something uniquely you as a result.
