I've been moving furniture and fetching boxes down from the attic this morning. I guess I must have been getting what they call round here "too busy", because Big Robin has just looked me straight in the eye and said
Love that sentiment. Very true. Things sure do get busy this time of the year. BTW I found your person double in Edmonton on Thursday while Christmas shopping. She works in a quaint little P.J. shop called "Cloud Nine". Actually I think she may own it as she had her two daughters working by her side. She was missing the Irish accent though. ;)
That's perfect! Took advantage of the snowstorm yesterday (still going on I might add) to get some decorating done. Today we'll be going through the boxes in the basement to get more out and the cards done.
Love this Sian! I had a mantra last Christmas that was "let Christmas happen in your heart", and I am certainly following it again this year. Hope you are able to slow down a little. Happy Christmas :)
That is the perfect quote for the season! Have fun with your decorating. I'm baking cookies today.
ReplyDeleteVery true. The Mechanic will be heading a foray into the attic later.
ReplyDeleteThat big Robin talks a lot of sense!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and so very true Sian! :)
ReplyDeleteSo many forget the meaning of Christmas and moan about it . Embrace it and lister to the robin :)

ReplyDeleteGreat quote for this time of year :). Hoping the moving of stuff not too onerous and there is time for the odd cup of coffee and a mince pie :).
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quote!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteOh how true!! Great thought!
ReplyDeleteSo true! And I just did an art journal page with a bird. Will have to share it soon.
ReplyDeleteRinda
Isn't it the truth! I'm finding this year that I'm putting family and friends first and the rest will come along, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI just put a bunch of moving/rearranging off until after the holidays. It's just too much on top of everything else.
ReplyDeleteThat is great advice from the big robin! x
ReplyDeletethat's a wise ole robin x

ReplyDeleteWhat a sensible Robin - I'm a bit later in the season but I've got there now. We quote the Grinch around here a lot too at this time of year :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours!
I love Big Robin and used his saying as a threat to my teen who didn't seem to get into the spirit :)
