Photo365+1

I'm Photo365-ing today with a catch up of my favourite pictures from the last couple of weeks,.

Here we go:

...faceless portrait

I scrapbook. I'm not very tidy. That's me.

..candid

You've caught me taking a new order of contact lenses out of the bag. I'd be useless without them

..woolly

Kind of doubling for candid, maybe? Sometimes a quick as-is shot by a teenager in a hurry is nice though.

..portrait of a woman

..although this is no woman, this is Lady Parker drawn by Holbein, printed on a postcard by The National Portrait Gallery and bought by me becasue I liked the look of her face.

..woven

Back to my collection of miniatures for this one. It's a dolls house picnic basket

..and finally ..prickly

a knitted heart pin cushion sent to me by my dear scrapbooking friend Amanda.

I'm delighted that I've managed to keep up with this project so far. Thanks Suzie!

  7. I'm impressed that you are keeping up with this project too. Do you plan to scrapbook those pictures, or are you storing them in some other way? Taking the photos would not be my problem---scrapbooking them all would---is that 365 pages?

  8. Such a teeny basket! I have to say that your untidiness is a little on the feeble side, Sian!

  9. LOL at Alexa's comment!
I do think all of them are self-reflections this week. Maybe that's often true?

  10. I didn't have you down as an untidy person (I like you even more now!) but if you want to see real untidy, pop into my house without forewarning me ...
I love the pincushion, it reminds me of when I used to do lacemaking, the bobbins had pretty beads weighing them at the ends. Now where did I put those???

  11. We have so much in common! The 365 project (thanks for showing us your part of the world), the scrapbooking (oh, pretty embellies!), the tall teenage son, a younger daughter (can´t call mine "small one" though, even though she isn´t as tall as her brother), the art postcards... It´s a pleasure to get to know you better through your blog. :)

  12. Are you sure The Lady Parker isn't a distant relative of yours? There is a distinct likeness! This is an interesting project and I am enjoying your take on the titles.

  23. I'm with Alexa - I'm sure untidy should be a bit more ummm untidy? However, I like the faceless portrait - especially the colours and embellies.

Fun to see the rest, especially the tiny basket - such a wee one!
