Photo 365+1

Alright, I'll admit it. I have a little bit of catching up to do before I can show you this week's collection of 365+1 photos. My attention has wandered. But we have been busy and I have remembered to add a Photoshop app to my phone. I even (very) nearly signed up to Instagram. So I'm still thinking about taking more pictures.

Like these ones:

25th. Should be still, but I swapped it with motion when I took this picture of Little E and his windmill.
26th. Free Choice. Little E in his brand new glasses. He looks cuter than ever (and he's being a very good boy about keeping them on).
27th. Amazing. Time for The (Not So) Small One to set off on the long awaited schooltrip.
28th. Fluffy. Feeling rebellious, I went for a rat. Or maybe he's one of the three blind mice.

29th. Kitchen Utensil. Sent from a friend in the States for Christmas. I wish I hadn't taken the beautiful big red bow off before I decided I was going to take a picture.
30th. Collection. A shelf of old shirts, just waiting to be reused in a new project. The day after I took this, The Accountant had a clear out and I added three more to the pile.
31st. Wheels. Shopping trolleys. The worst wheels in the world.
1st Feb. Accessory. Back from Paris, with the latest Third Form must-have.

Again, thanks to Suzie for the prompts. That's eight more little stories I have to tell..

Have to smile as when D came back from Paris this time last year they all had the requisite grey hoodie. The only difference was that D got the French version so was teacher's pet for sure :0)
She looks like she had a great time. Growing up!

Looks great! You know, you don't have to sign up to Instagram and use it as a social network, you can set it so that you can just use it as a camera with filters, that's what I do to prevent more time being eaten up by social-network type apps but I really love the filters on Instagram more than Hipstamatic so signed up :)

Little E is just too cute in his new specs. T(not so)SO looks pretty cute in hers too! I remember that windmill from our Thomas the Tank Engine Brio days. *sigh*

He,he....I was behind too this week. Just taken and edited nearly a weeks worth this morning:) Great ideas for the prompts. Sometimes I have to think it over for a while before settling for my idea.

Great photos! This was the hardest week for me. I have them, but some days there is only one, and none are off the camera or the phone yet.

I love that the shirts are waiting to be 're-used'.

That cannot possibly be the not so small one - when did she get to be so grown up? Love your take on the prompts, especially like your take on 'fluffy'. {My daughter's puppy still hasn't forgiven me for not using her for that one}

Great photos Sian. It definitely looks like the Small One is Not-so-Small anymore but turning into a beautiful young lady.

Love, love, love the Paris tshirt photo. Karen of Random Reflections posted about the camera+ app for the iphone, and it works great.

I like your take on the photographs; such a great collection. Little E looks so smart and your daughter nearly grown up. Sigh, they do that really quickly these days!
Took your suggestion to heart about doing a series on embroidery starting with my own handiwork. Thank you so much for suggesting it to me. Enjoy the rest of half-term.

Lovely photos Sian. I can recommend Instagram, it is brilliant, I only use it for the filters too.

Lovely photos Sian - I didn't think Little E could get any cuter and then he just did!

Hey, whilst I've posted this week's (including today's) I've not posted the beginning of January. At some point right...

Glad TNSO is home safe and had a good time. Hmm, wonder if I can convince Wookie to have a clear out of shirts?

I know how tricky it can be for little ones to keep their glasses on, he looks to be doing a marvellous job indeed!
I have to agree, one of life's greatest frustrations is the shopping trolley!

Amanda said...

Little E looks very grown up in his glasses. I recently had a wonky wheel incident, I think shopping trolleys are sent to try us.

More great photos Sian, you certainly have some innovative ones - i.e. the mouse & cheese, for which I am certain there is a great story!

Great selection of photos -can't wait to see what you're going to do with those shirts!

Great pics, Sian. How do you like the Photoshop app? I LOVE Instagram - so quick and easy to use. If you do end up adding it please let me know and I'll "follow" you.

Can't believe how grown up looking your girl is! {Hence the "Not So" added to her title, I suppose!}

Oh, and one more thing - the shopping carts you show are like the ones they have at IKEA and they drive me crazy! Having all four wheels swivel makes for a wild ride. Our standard carts in the US have front wheels that swivel and the back ones are fixed/roll straight - MUCH easier to steer.

Ok...I'm done. Peace out! xo

Nice photos! I need to remember to take some of these everyday kinds of shots, they sure make a nice little collection for future scrapping.

Had to chuckle at the wheels one - you are most definitely right! Looks like you're doing a good job at keeping up with the pictures.
